Privacy Policy

Optimus.tips (“we”, “us”) is an independent pre-owner community for people interested in Tesla Optimus and related accessories. We are not affiliated with Tesla, Inc. This policy explains what we collect and why, in plain language.

What we collect

• Prep List: display name, email, primary interest, and an optional short note about how you’re preparing for Optimus.
• Community & Gear Arena: usernames you choose, posts, replies, product votes, and optional product reviews. These are meant as public community content.
• Technical data: basic server logs (e.g. IP for rate limiting and abuse prevention), and optional privacy-friendly analytics if enabled on our host.

How we use it

• Understand demand for accessories and use cases (ecosystem signal).
• Contact Prep List members with community updates when relevant.
• Operate, secure, and improve the site (spam control, reliability).

We do not sell your email list. We do not use Prep List data as a personal or family dossier. We are not collecting deposits for Tesla robots and we cannot reserve an Optimus for you.

Storage & retention

Signups and community data are stored in a managed database when the site is configured for production. We keep Prep List records while the community is active, or until you ask us to remove your email. You can request deletion by emailing hello@optimus.tips.

Sharing

We use infrastructure providers (hosting, database) that process data only to run the service. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the site and its users from abuse.

Children

The site is aimed at adults preparing for home robotics. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
